“Tan-awon nato ang set-up, ang security. Tan-awon nato didto kay maghimo naman ta og planning asa dapit ang una musulod, mag monitor sa patient, ari mag injection, ania maghuwat usa after sa injection ug asa sad ang mga security,” said Ruiz.
(We will check the set-up and security. We will check the area because we will plan where they will first enter, the person to monitor the patient, what part of the area where they will be injected, where will they wait after the injection and where the security persons will be situated.)
Ruiz said the COVID-19 vaccine board had different teams handling the different aspects of the vaccination such as the planning and logistics team for the logistic supplies such as the syringes, personnel protective equipment (PPEs), among others, the Vaccination Immunization and Coordination team for the actual days of the immunization, and many others.
“So ako’ng gusto ipahibaw sa taga Mandaue nga naglihok ta, and we will be ready before the end of the month,” she said.
(I would just like to inform those from Mandaue that we are working and we will be ready before the end of the month.)
She said about 40,000 individuals would be prioritized to receive the vaccine, 2,000 of which would be medical workers.
