Two men suspected of working in the illegal drug trade were arrested in separate raids in Cebu City.
Authorities seized an estimated P150,000 worth of shabu.
First to fall was Vladimer Daclison Sumergido after officers from the San Nicolas police station entered his house in barangay Sawang Calero on Thursday.
Police confiscated 13 medium-sized and 21 small packs believed to contain shabu from Sumergido’s house, said Chief Insp. Chuck Barandog, chief of the San Nicolas police.
He said police surveillance showed that Sumergido was capable of selling at least 200 grams of shabu a week and that he was allegedly selling drugs to high school students.
In barangay Parian, police arrested Rey Aquino, 45, after three packs suspected to contain shabu were found in his house yesterday morning.
Chief Insp. Ryan Devaras said Aquino was under surveillance for two weeks before the raid.
Both operations were covered by search warrants.
