By: Chito O. Aragon August 08,2014 - 07:50 AM

A 56-year-old blind man was killed after he was hit in the head by a stray bullet in barangay Lahug, Cebu City early morning yesterday.

The bullet that hit Diosdado Gargar Cimafranca Jr. came from the gun fired by Antonio Pamplona Quitor Jr., 29, police said.

Police said Quitor shot at Michael Lagahit, 27, in an alley, but missed. The bullet instead hit Cimafranca who was washing his face.

Lagahit, a call center agent, was mauled by the victim’s relatives who thought he was the gunman. Police arrested Quitor following a pursuit operation.

He told police that he and Lagahit had personal differences.
