By: Dale G. Rosal August 11,2014 - 11:58 AM

Humility Igaña, wife of the late Ramon Igaña, was thankful for the continuos support the Cebuanos have given her family in remembering her husband through the “R399: Live Your Dream” running event yesterday at the Ayala Center Cebu’s The Terraces.

Ramon, who was 44, died while participating in the bike leg of  the relay division of the Cobra Ironman 70.3 in Cebu last 2012.  He succumbed to  acute pulmonary embolism.

“People who knew Ram (Ramon) showed overwhelming support by registering  and joining the running event. Runners who did not know him personally came and joined maybe because of the positive feedback of last year’s race,” Humility, who is a doctor, said.

Winners of yesterdays race were John Philip Dueñas (men’s 12k), Mary Joy Tabal (women’s 12k), John Daryl Manos (men’s 6k), Cherry Andrin (woen’s 6k), John Cliff Debolusan (men’s 3k) and Issa Priagula (women’s 3k.)

Around a thousand runners took part in the running event.
