Aboitiz football continues TODAY

TWENTY matches will spice up the second weekend of the 16th Aboitiz Football Cup at the Aboitiz Sports Field at the North Reclamation Area today.

Leading the list of games will be the 18-under matches between St. John Seminary and Cebu International School (CIS) and Alcoy FC and SAIS FC.

In the girls 18-under, the San Roque Football Club will take on the girls squad of CIS.

The Talisay Raskals will try to extend their winning streak to two as they face Subangdaku FC in the boys under-15 division. The Raskals defeated Saint John Seminary last weekend, 6-0.

Bright Academy and Saint Theresa’s College (STC) will have a showdown in the girls’ under 15 division while Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and Canduman FC will have a duel in the under-13 division.

University of San Carlos-Basic Education Department (USC-BED) and the Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS) FC will complete the two-matches scheduled in the under-13 division.

Consolacion FC will play against Tabor Hill FC in the first of seven matches scheduled in the under-11 division followed by Canduman FC vs. CIS.

Other games pit Lahug FC Team B vs. SAIS FC, Giuseppe FC vs. MAD FC, SHS-AdC vs. CPMS, SRFC vs. BMALV FC and SAIS FC vs. Dynamo FC.

In the under-seven division, Giuseppe FC will take on Consolacion FC while the latter faces CIS in the afternoon. In the under-nine division, CPMS will play against USC-BED followed by the former’s match against Bright Academy Team A. BMALV FC and Canduman FC will have a showdown in one of the matches in the under-nine division. Giuseppe FC will also take on PAREF Springdale Team B.
