MANILA—Actor Mark Gil, Raphael Joseph De Mesa Eigenmann in real life, passed away on Monday morning, the actor’s manager, Jun Rufino, confirmed.
He was 52.
The Eignenmann family requested for privacy until they can issue an official statement.
Gil, famous for his roles in Batch ’81, Magkaribal, and The Legal Wife, belongs to a showbiz clan. He is the father of young actors Andi Eigenmann, Sid Lucero, Gabby Eigenmann, and Max Eigenmann. He is also the brother of character actors Cherie Gil and Michael de Mesa.
