Woman in critical condition after being stabbed 31 times by husband
A woman is in critical condition after being stabbed 31 times by her jealous husband in their home in Barili town, Wednesday noon.
SPO 4 Elsa Albuera said the woman’s husband confronted her after he saw her entering his brother’s room. The woman denied his allegations resulting in a heated argument.
The suspect stabbed his wife in the chest, arms and stomach using scissors and then fled. Two of their children aged eight and four saw what happened and shouted for help.
The wife’s cousin who was supposed to go to the market saw her and brought her to Barili District Hospital. Albuera said the suspect is still at large.
