Police arrested three men on suspicion they were responsible for a series of motorcycle theft in the Cebu I.T. Park in barangay Apas, Cebu City.

Security guards allegedly caught Rogelio Sevilla Jr., 36, in the act of stealing a motorcycle Tuesday night.

He was taken to the Theft and Robbery Section (TRS) of the Cebu City Police Office.

He then allegedly admitted to the crime and ratted on his cohorts Victor Pintoy Surigao Jr., 34, and Ernie Lobo Gelladuga, 41. Police conducted a follow up operation and arrested the two in barangay Lahug. Three motorcycles that were reported stolen were recovered from them.

Chief Insp. David Señor, chief of TRS, said that the three rented out an apartment where they keep the stolen motorcycles.

He said they chop up the motorcycles and sell it by parts.

Señor said they get at least three motorcycle theft complaints daily in barangays Apas and Lahug.
