MANDAUE CITY, Philippines — Vaccinated or unvaccinated Mandaue City Hall employees will receive a Christmas bonus before December 24, 2021.

Mandaue City Vice Mayor Glenn Bercede said that city hall regular employees will receive a Christmas bonus equivalent to one month’s salary while job order employees will get a P4,000 incentive.

This is on top of the 13th-month pay mandated by law.

Bercede said Christmas bonuses are given yearly as this had been included in the city’s annual budget.

The city hall has around 700 regular employees and over 2,000 job order workers.

Bercede said whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, regular employees would receive a Christmas Bonus as long as the unvaccinated could present a medical certificate.

“Ang kag dili nimo ihatag nga intended gyud baya na para nila gitrabahuan man na nila, ang doctor naman ang niingun,” said Bercede.     /rcg
