NO foul play in LAPU resort staffer’s death
Police ruled out foul play in the death of a 36-year-old pool attendant of a posh resort in Lapu-Lapu City who was electrocuted while cleaning the pool at around 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Victim Axiel Augusto and fellow worker, Emelito Rosales, were cleaning the jacuzzi of Crimson Resort and Spa in barangay Mactan when Augusto was electrocuted.
Mia Mae Sy, public relations manager of the resort, said that while Augusto is not an outsourced employee of the resort, they will extend help to his family.
The victim is an employee of Trans Orient Agency.
