The Zumba Instructors Network (ZIN) of Cebu and World Vision are targeting at least 20,000 participants from the academe, private sector and barangays in Cebu City and the towns and cities in Cebu province for the 30 minute dance. Part of the proceeds will go to the classroom rehabilitation program for schools in northern Cebu.

India is the current Guinness record holder for the largest Zumba class in the world with 6,671 participants during a Zumba class held on Sept. 15, 2012.

Registration is on-going at the Sports Zone located at the upper ground floor of SM City Cebu. Adult participants can pay either P250 with a “break the record singlet” or P150 without a singlet. Students only need to pay 100 each.
