A 45-YEAR-OLD man was nabbed after he mauled his own wife and daughter in barangay Montañeza, Malabuyoc town, southwest Cebu last Monday evening.
PO2 Ronyl Allera said the woman and her daughter reported the incident hours after the incident. Their names are being withheld to protect their privacy.
Allera said the man went home drunk and saw his wife disposing some plastic items.
He said the man confronted his wife and daughter because he thought they were about to sneak out of their home. The man hit his daughter with the handle of a bolo and mauled her and his wife.
“He suspected that his wife has an affair with another man. He is said to be a drunkard who mauls his wife after a drinking session,” Allera said.
