Ex-cop tagged in pizzeria robbery

A former policeman assigned in Pagadian City was identified as one of the robbers of a pizzeria in downtown Cebu City last Tuesday morning.

Witnesses identified Eugene Salingay, a policeman dismissed from service, as one of those who took the P22,000 cash from the Alberto’s Pizza outlet in Pelaez Street, barangay San Antonio, Cebu City.

Supt. Romeo Santander, chief of the City Intelligence Branch (CIB) said Salingay was also tagged as a suspect in the robberies of LBC branches together with ex-military informant Leonardo Rama.
