A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man whom she met in a bar on Gen. Maxilom Ave. in Cebu City last month.

The complaint was filed with the Cebu City Prosecutor’s Office Tuesday last week against Jaydee Mar Pardillada.

In her complaint, Myrna (real name withheld) claimed that Pardillada, who introduced himself as a photographer, allegedly spiked her drinks causing her to lose consciousness.

It was then that the suspect allegedly took advantage of her in his room in barangay Duljo Fatima.

She said she kept her ordeal to herself  for three weeks.

When she finally found the courage to reveal what happened to her to her  mother,  she was immediately taken to doctor whom she claimed confirmed that she was raped.

She was also found to have been afflicted with a sexually transmitted disease.

Myrna narrated to Cebu Daily News that she was having drinks with her friends at the Harrison Park on Osmeña Blvd. on Dec. 10 when a neighbor, a certain Joan, came to fetch her at past 11 p.m. as her mother was already looking for her.

However, while they were walking towards a nearby mall, Joan convinced her to go to Mango Square.

There, Joan introduced her to Pardillada. They went out for drinks.

After she felt dizziness, Myrna claimed she told Joan and Pardillada that she wants to go home.

Pardillada offered to bring them home but along the way, he suggested that they should go to his room so they can see the photos he’s taken.

When Joan went to the toilet, Pardillada allegedly pushed her to the bed. The suspect also pulled Joan’s hair when she came out of the toilet and pushed her to the bed. He then covered their faces with a pillow to prevent them from shouting for help.

Myrna said Joan pleaded with the suspect not to harm her, prompting the Pardillada to turn his attention to her. She said she tried to resist the attack, but she was too weak. The three of them fell asleep. The two girls tried to sneak out of the room when they woke up at  11 a.m. the following day, but the door was locked.

The victim said they  had no choice but to wake  up the suspect and ask him to open the door. Pardillada allegedly  gave them P100 and allowed them to leave.

Myrna said she kept the incident to herself but her mother noticed that she was always quiet and absent-minded.

Myrna finally had the courage to tell her mother and she was brought to the hospital for a check up.

They also have the incident recorded in the blotter of Mambaling Police Station.

Myrna’s mother said Pardillada had asked them not to pursue the case but they are determined to seek justice.
