A farmer was killed by his younger brother after an argument arising from jealousy Thursday morning in Pinamungajan town.
Victim Mariano Siatangan, 46, allegedly accused his elder brother, Juan, 48, of having an affair with his wife and this led to a fight.
Prior to this, the brothers were having a drinking session at Mariano’s residence in barangay Punod, Pinamungajan, midwest Cebu.
PO2 Ariel Tagyam of Pinamungajan police station revealed that according to Juan, Mariano attacked him first with a bamboo pole.
He hit Mariano’s head with a bottle and when the victim fell, hit his head again using the bamboo pole.
Police filed a murder case against Juan yesterday.
