A DEVELOPER that started in northern Mindanao 25 years ago and flourished in Cebu over the past decade has introduced its first project in Davao City, the Portville Davao.Johndorf Ventures Corp. (JVC) invested P200 million in the 2.7-hectare property in Barangay Sasa in that city that will become a community of 374 middle-class two-storey affordable townhomes.

Designed with modern Asian architecture similar to Portville Mactan, the subdivision has lots with 44-square meters in area and a townhouse unit with 70-sqm in floor area, disclosed Michele D. Chiu, JVC sales and marketing head.

Portville Davao is a gated community that will ensure residents of safety and security. It features an open space plaza, an open court for basketball and other sports and a multi-purpose clubhouse.Johndorf has adopted a system, a unique technology developed from over 20 years of experience in building affordable to high-end residences, that will develop Portville Davao in a few months.

This has encouraged sellers to push for Portville Davao as they will be able to cash in with the project soon and as it progresses with each townhouse priced at P1.25 million, according to Chiu.“We have proven this with Portville Mactan (in Lapulapu City, Mactan Island, Cebu) and the recent subdivision projects of our Cebu subsidiary (Prohomes Development, Inc.),” she pointed out. “The townhouse units at Portville Mactan got sold out in a matter of three months,” she said, adding the company expects the same success for Portville Davao.
