LANAO del Norte first district Rep. Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo celebrated her birthday by organizing a medical mission in one of the district’s remotest barangays.

Last Jan. 16, Congresswoman Dimaporo brought a medical team from the Provincial Health Office to barangay Taguranao, Tubod, to give residents access to basic health services.

More than 300 residents from Taguranao and nearby barangays of Campo V and Malingao received free medical consultation, dental check-up, tooth extraction and medicines.

Personnel from the Provincial Community Affairs Office assisted doctors and nurses during the medical mission as well as in handing out the free medicines like paracetamol, anti-fungal creams, antibiotics, pain relievers, medicine for cough and colds, hypertension, and diarrhea.

Patients also received multivitamins and ascorbic acid tablets to boost their immune system.

Dimaporo also gave out donuts and chocolates to children in the community together with her daughter,  Aminah Dimaporo.
