A 21-YEAR-OLD farmer was fatally shot by a man whom he had challenged to a fight in barangay Cagay, Sibonga town, southern Cebu.
Joremy Quirante was shot by Renante Casayas, who surrendered to the police after the incident.
Police said that last Tuesday night, a drunk Quirante ran amok and challenged every person he met along the road to a fight.
Around 1 p.m. last Wednesday, Quirante was sleeping under a tree when Casayas shot him in the neck.
