City Hall awards outstanding employees, offices
CEBU City awarded its outstanding employees yesterday as part of the 78th Cebu city charter celebration.
City Legal Office was awarded the most outstanding City Hall department and received P50,000 cash and a plaque.
City Attorney Jerone Castillo said that he was indeed happy that their team was recognized. He said that since his appointment in 2013 the City Legal Office has not lost a single case.
City agriculturist Joelity Baclayon was awarded most outstanding department head. He also received P50,000 cash and a plaque. Ronaldo Malacora of the General Services Office was outstanding assistant department head and got P40,000 cash.
Anthony Aguhar of the Department of Manpower Development and Placement was awarded outstanding section head, while Alberto Bontuyan of the Department of Public Service was outstanding division head. They received P30,000 each.
Mayor Michael Rama and Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella handed the awards in a ceremony at the Casino Español./Correspondent Nestle L. Semilla
