BINIGYAN ng 9 rating out of 10 ng award-winning actress na si Dolly de Leon ang pagiging aktres ni Kathryn Bernardo.
Ito’y matapos nga nilang i-shoot ang first movie nila together na “A Very Good Girl” mula sa Star Cinema, directed by Petersen Vargas.
Ipinaliwanag ng BAFTA at Golden Globe nominee sa nakaraang mediacon ng “A Very Good Girl” kung bakit hindi niya binigyan ng perfect 10 ang akting ni Kath.
“Kunyari 10 ‘yung highest, ‘no, okay. I give her a nine. I’ll qualify why. Kaya hindi perfect score because learning and growing is a never-ending process,” tugon ng Pinay Hollywood actress.
“There is always room for improvement. And perfection can never be achieved. But she is up there, she has a very high mark, and I think I already explained this earlier.

“The reason why I think she’s a very strong actress is because she is able to access her vulnerable side and express those emotions and flesh them out into a character, a living, breathing human being.
“And it takes skill and talent to be able to do that,” ang paliwanag pa ng internationally-acclaimed actress.
Inamin din ni Dolly sa harap ng showbiz press na inatake rin siya ng nerbiyos nu’ng mga unang araw ng shooting nila ni Kathryn. Nabanggit kasi ng girlfriend ni Daniel Padilla na na-starstruck at na-intimidate talaga siya kay Dolly.
“Ang funny lang na na-intimidate ka (Kath) sa akin kasi kinakabahan din ako sa iyo nu’ng first few days. Pero eventually naging kumportable na ako. Although there were times, I’m in a scene, because she’s so good.
“It’s a no-no as an actor na while in a scene, pinapapanood mo yung co-actor mo. Dapat in the scene ka. But there were many times pinapanood ko lang siyang umarte, kasi ang galing-galing niya.
“Tapos ika-catch ko yung sarili ko, ‘Tama na, hindi ka si Dolly, si Molly ka.’ I really felt like it was a learning experience. I learned a lot from her. She has nothing to learn from me,” pahayag ng veteran actress.
Marami rin daw siyang natutunan kay Kathryn while filming their movie, “Ako kasi I’m not a technical actor. I don’t even look at the monitor after the take.
“But she’s very technical, which is a good thing. Alam niya how to play with the camera. Kabisado niya yung face niya.
“She’s very in touch with her emotions and her vulnerability. And she can bring it out and flesh it out and work with the character..It’s a skill that I don’t have that you have,” papuri pa ni Dolly sa itinanghal na Outstanding Asian Star sa Seoul International Drama Awards 2023.
Reaksyon naman ni Kath sa mga sinabi ni Dolly, “Sinasabi lang niya yun. Lahat ng eksena, tinuruan niya talaga ako.”
