CEBU CITY, Philippines — In its 15th year, the Feast Conference (FeastCon) Visayas is expecting to have 4,500 attendees this December.

The FeastCon 2023 will be held at the IC3 Convention Center on December 2.

It will be attended by the people from Visayas and Mindanao.

Kerygma Conference

FeastCon, formerly known as the Kerygma Conference, is an annual event organized by the Light of Jesus (LOJ) Family, a Roman Catholic ministry founded by Bro. Bo Sanchez.

Sanchez, a prominent motivational speaker and preacher, will be the main speaker for his event. He is also the founder of The Feast.

FeastCon is the event that is most anticipated by the attendees of The Feast, a weekly gathering of the members of the LOJ across the country but is also open to those who wish to attend the gathering.

Conference for a cause

The beneficiary of this year’s FeastCon will go to Jeremiah Foundation which focuses on helping sexually abused young girls, usually aged 13 to 15.

Stephen Nellas, co-chairman of the FeastCon Visayas said in a press conference on Sunday, September 3, that Sanchez has many “mercy ministries” and among them is the Jeremiah Foundation.

Last year, FeastCon’s beneficiary was the Anawim Foundation, a home for abandoned elderly people.

‘New Promise’

Moreover, the theme of this year’s FeastCon is “New Promise” and according to Nellas, it is based on Revelations 3:7-8.

“When God opens the door, nobody can close, when God closes the door nobody can open,” Nellas said.

Interested participants can buy their tickets via physical or online purchase through FeastCon Visayas’ official website at feastconference.com/visayas.

Registration is open until December 2, but walk-ins will also be accepted.

“We are inviting everyone, even outside of the Feast, to come together to have a one-day retreat wherein they can learn from the talks. They can experience being together with fellow people who journey towards God,” Nellas said.

Moreover, Nellas said that besides papers or note-taking apps, participants only have to bring themselves to attend the FeastCon.

Ticket prices

The prices of tickets range from P599 to P5,999.

Last year, there were 2,000 participants which took place in Waterfront Cebu Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City.
