Kris Aquino insisted that she is “not in a relationship” with anyone and she now “feels more peaceful” in the company of her sons Josh and Bimby.

Aquino took to her Instagram to reiterate what she said in July that she ended her relationship with Batangas vice governor Mark Leviste because a long-distance relationship would be hard for them to maintain. She has since unfollowed the latter on Instagram.

“My sisters urged me to make my current status very clear. I am not in a relationship,” the former TV host-actress wrote in all caps.

Aquino further said, “We no longer communicate, and my sons and I feel more peaceful. No details because I value my privacy and respect his, and I chose to only give the facts that should be addressed.”

The Queen of All Media is currently in California in the United States where is undergoing treatment for her autoimmune diseases.

Prior to their breakup, Leviste would often visit her in the US and spend time with her sons Josh and Bimby, sometimes bringing his own children, who had taken to calling Aquino “mommy.”

Leviste only had a succinct comment on Instagram post: “Thank you.”

Months after their split, Aquino asked the Batangas-based politician to stop reaching out to her since they had grown apart due to their distance.

Aquino also lamented how her relationship with Leviste was made public against her wishes, as she wanted to focus on her medical treatments.

Improved health

Meanwhile, Aquino announced that her health has continued to improve with the current treatment she’s receiving from her autoimmune disease specialists in the US, attributing this to her unwavering faith and the prayers of her supporters.

Aquino said that her “inflammatory numbers” are doing better than before, and she’s “surviving all side effects” of the “methotrexate and biological injectable” treatments.

“I don’t know what good I did but I know I’m surviving all the side effects of methotrexate and my biological injectable because God is listening to all your prayers for my healing,” she said. “I don’t have my complete blood panel results yet but there’s an improvement in my inflammatory numbers, in particular my C-reactive protein and my E-sedimentation rate.”

“Hopefully in the next few days I’ll have my IgE, IgG, IgM and ANA results. Wag na natin (Let’s not) discuss my CBC, as always i’m still very anemic (it’s been a problem even before my autoimmune conditions were diagnosed),” she further added.

Aquino likewise expressed hope that she would be in remission in the next “18 to 20 months” then eventually come home “after [six] months.”

“Praying more that in 18 to 20 months I’ll reach remission and after 6 months I’ll have my doctors’ clearances and we can go home. I miss my sisters, my cousins, my [Filipino] doctors, my close friends, and of course all of you… It’s already been 16 months,” she said.
