CEBU CITY, Philippines—How is Cebu motorsports these days? Apparently, it isn’t as quiet as it seems, according to Cebuano motorsports legend Lord Seno.

In an episode of CDN SportsTalk, Seno, a noted race car champion, said the racing community is active.

While the motorsports scene in Cebu may seem quiet with no races being held here, Seno explained that promising Cebuano racers are actually competing in different places and finish strong.

In fact, some of these racers, particularly karters, are to be awarded in the Cebu Motorsports Awards night to be held at the Cebu Grand Hotel on Saturday night, February 3, 2024.

Watch this interview of Lord Seno and learn more about the status of Cebu’s racing scene and more:

Cebu has been very active in motorsports in the past, with races being held in drag racing, autocross, karting, and motorcross.

It slowed down in the past 10 years or so due to politics and venue problems.

But Seno believes despite this, the motorsports scene will continue to grow, especially if gets the needed support from the government.
