The regional office of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) agreed to shift their concrete fence along Salinas Drive in barangay Lahug, Cebu City to allow construction of a sidewalk.
In a press statement, Tesda Secretary Joel Villanueva agreed to set the fence back about 2.5 meters from the road and gave the go-signal to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to start building new fence.
Villanueva said it is Tesda’s contribution to solve the traffic in the area and to provide a safe sidewalk for their students.
