‘Sorry, it won’t happen again’

By: Jhunnex Napallacan June 05,2015 - 01:51 AM

His job is at risk and the flak over his  arrogant threats to a traffic enforcer spell trouble.

Humbled by the outrage over  a video of his conduct, radio blocktimer Roger Cimafranca yesterday went on air to apologize to traffic enforcer Lyndon Lito Ocampo, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and everyone else  offended by his behavior.

In a low voice, Cimafranca asked to be given a second chance.

He said he was ready to personally apologize to the Citom enforcer.

Cimfranca said he had a personal problem at the time  Ocampo flagged him on the road in the South Road Properties for overloading and bringing passengers without crash helmets last May 20.

Cimafranca said he got carried away by his emotions.

(I would like to apologize to the Citom enforcer and to the people who were dragged into the issue. I repeat, I admit what happened. We are all sinners. I would also like to apologize to Mayor Michael Rama for dropping his name, as well as to the ABC president and to every   body. I sincerely apologize and I hope for your understanding. It will not happen again.)

He said he will abide by  any decision of radio dyLA management and the ABC.

He said he would probbly go back to this hometown to find ways to support his family.

To the netizens who criticized him, he said he accepts all their comments and admits his mistake. Ocampo earlier said he has forgiven Cimafranca and will not press charges.
