SEVERAL streets in Cebu City were flooded after yesterday’s downpour, the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CCDRRMC) said.

City Councilor Dave Tumulak, who heads the council, identified the flooded areas as MJ Cuenco Ave., the Cebu Technological University (CTU) area, Colon St., Tagunol St., and Parian.

There were no reports of accidents due to the flood and the bridges also remained intact despite the rise in water level, he said.

Tumulak said they recorded heavy rain in the north district at 2 p.m. to 3 p.m while the downpour reached the south district at 3 p.m.
