Canada’s Minister of International Trade Ed Fast visits Rustan’s Supermarket Ayala Cebu

Leading a five-day trade mission to Manila and Cebu, International Trade Minister Ed Fast, together with Canadian Senator Tobias Enverga Jr. and other trade delegates visited Rustan’s Supermarket Ayala to promote world-class Canadian beef in the Philippines. During the Canada Beef Inc.’s sponsored special event, Minister Fast also highlighted other Canadian products available in the Philippines, including TruBlue juice, a brand owned and distributed by Leading Brands, Inc. of Vancouver, British Colombia. Canadian food and agriculture exports to the Philippines totalled $183.8 million in 2014 and included $67.7-million worth of meat. Canadian agriculture and agri-food exports to the Philippines are up 127.3 percent over the first three months of 2015.

In Cebu, Rustan’s Supermarket is located at Oakridge Business Park, 880 A.S Fortuna Street, Banilad, Mandaue City; Paseo Arcenas Estate in Banawa; and Basement 1 of the Ayala Center Cebu expansion wing.
