On July 31 at 6 p.m., the Children of Asia at Cardoc building on Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City will open  its doors to the public.

Children of Asia Philippines is a French nongovernmental and humanitarian organization providing comprehensive care to over 10,000 children in distress in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Here in Cebu, the organization provides food, shelter, education and medical care to underprivileged children.

These children live on the sidewalks and inside the cemetery in the area of Taboan and Carreta in Cebu City.

With the support of Children of Asia Philippines, the children beneficiaries gained access to educational materials, proper food and nutrition, and better hygiene at the Balay Bata Day Care Center.

Currently, the organization supports more than 660 children, of whom 188 are sponsored through individual sponsorships and 455 sponsored through collective sponsorships.
