Cebuanos will enjoy three holidays in the month of August.
August 6, Thursday, is a non-working holiday for the entire Cebu Province in celebration of the 446th Cebu Provincial
Charter Day. This holiday includes highly urbanized cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Danao, Toledo, and Lapu-Lapu.
Employees in Cebu province who work on that day will enjoy a 30 percent premium in their pay , said Greggy Jiggs Senados of the Cebu City Public Information Office.
August 21, Friday, is a special non-working holiday in celebration of Ninoy Aquino Day marking the assassination of former Sen.Benign Aquino Jr.
