The suspect in last month’s ambush of a businessman was shot dead while driving his motorcycle in Barangay Pasil, Friday afternoon.
Arnel Gomez, 35 years old was tagged as gunman in the killing of Jaime Villaceran on July 14.

Gomez was driving his motorcycle past 2 p.m. when the backrider of another motorcycle shot him several times, including in the head, on Tupas Street in Barangay Pasil.
Supt. Romeo Santander, chief of the Cebu City police intelligence branch said they are still investigating on the motive of the crime.
Santander said Gomez has been jailed several times including a murder case.
