A car painter and a habal-habal driver died after they were shot by motorcycle-riding assailants in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the killing of Jason Rey Pusa, 28, and Bargie Fuentes, 35.
The two victims were on a motorcycle driven by Fuentes when they were waylaid at 1:45 p.m., police said.
Police said Pusa was picked up by Fuentes from his house. They were attacked about 20 meters from Pusa’s house.
The two victims suffered gunshot wounds in the head.
A sachet believed to contain shabu was recovered from Pusa’s possession, police said.
