The Islands Group has renewed its franchise agreement with its partner Kenneth Ng in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
Ng and Islands Group executive vice president Camille Aldeguer recently signed the contract renewing the franchise agreement as part of the Cebu-based company’s commitment to support the tourism development of key destinations in the country.
In a statement, the company said it plans to expand operations in Vigan and introduce a new concept store.
The company has set its sights on further taking the local souvenir industry in the area to another level with the introduction of a new line of products and creative designs that are unique to Vigan.
Vigan, which has been declared one of the New Seven Wonder Cities, is considered the “best preserved example of a planned Spanish colonial town in Asia.”
Islands Souvenirs has over 80 stores located in key tourist destinations across the country.
