Man killed in bike collision

A 50-YEAR-OLD man was killed while two others, including an army soldier, were wounded when two motorcycles collided in Mandaue City last Wednesday dawn.

Police identified the fatality as Emmanuel Tiempo of  barangay Talamban, Cebu City.

Injured were Tiempo’s backrider William Mack, and PFC Fredjead Compacion, a member of the Philippine Army.

The accident happened in H. Abellana Street in barangay Canduman.

Police said Tiempo overtook a trailer truck but ended up colliding with the motorcycle driven by Compacion in the opposite lane.

PO2 Ruben Dayon of the Mandaue City Police Office said the two drivers  had no driver’s license.

Tiempo was declared dead at the Eversley Child’s Hospital.
