A man was critically wounded after he was shot by two motorcycle-riding men in barangay Calajoan, Minglanilla town, southern Cebu.
Melchor Yonson, 28, was walking home when he was attacked last Wednesday morning.
The victim suffered two gunshot wounds in the abdomen. He was brought to a hospital in Cebu City.
Police are still investigating the motive of the attack.
PO3 Oliver Dacua said investigators are checking reports that several residents have complained against the suspect for his alleged involvement in theft incidents.
