National Letter Writing Day set for Oct. 9 at SM Consolacion
THE freedom of personal expression will be heard once again in the 3rd National Letter-Writing Day (NLWD) of the Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) in partnership with SM City Consolacion.
PHLPost’s project expresses postal awareness in spite of the digital message sending where postal letter writing is rarely practiced.
The simultaneous letter writing themed “Dear Next President” will give participants from the different private and public schools the chance to express their views and hopes through letters. The letters will be presented to the next president of the Republic of the Philippines for next year’s national election 2016.
The NLWD will be an avenue for the new generation to appreciate the art of sending letters in a traditional way.
The NLWD will be conducted on Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. at the Event Centre of SM City Consolacion.
