PBA to support Gilas, releases list of pool for Olympic qualifiers
After a special board meeting today, the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) promised its full support for the National Team known as the Gilas Pilipinas.
With this, the PBA has released the list of the 17 man pool for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
They are: June Mar Fajardo Marcio Lassiter Japeth Aguilar LA Tenorio Greg Slaughter Calvin Abueva Paul Lee Gabe Norwood Jayson Castro Matt Rosser Ryan Reyes Marc Pingris Ian Sangalang Troy Rosario Ranidel De Ocampo Terrence Romeo Jeff Chan.
Naturalized player Andray Blatche and Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson are not included on the list since they are not playing in the PBA.
