A MAN was arrested while assorted firearms were seized in two police operations in Danao City, northern Cebu last Wednesday.
Primo Juntilla Pepito was caught allegedly making firearms.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) raided his shanty in barangay Tuburan.
Seized from the house were three shotguns, gun parts, magazines and ammunition.
Hours later, CIDG-7 operatives headed by Supt. Fermin Armendarez III also raided the house of Nomer Prieto in barangay Poblacion.
A shotgun and gun parts were seized from Priet’s house.
Both were part of Oplan Paglalansag Omega, a campaign against loose firearms.
