RISING Cebuano tennis player Joshua Kinaadman faltered in his title bid in the Palawan Pawnshop Pinta Flores Tennis Open yesterday in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

Kinaadman, a University of the East Red Warrior product, lost to Butuan-native and Philippine national team player Johnny Arcilla in straight sets, 0-6, 0-6.

In the early rounds, Joshua Kinaadman scored a walkout (W.O) victory over Damian Noel. He then chalked up a come-from-behind victory over Deo Talatayod 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the second round.

As of press time, Kinaadman and Rodolfo Barquin were still playing in the doubles competition against the duo of Japeth Bartolome and Arno Rodriguez.
