YOUTH Olympics gold medalist Luis Gabriel Moreno will once again put his immense potential in archery on the line as he contends in the 2015 Asian Archery Championships today in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 17-yea-old Moreno, a nephew of renowned Cebuana celebrity Vina Morales, has been making waves in the world of archery after he became the only Filipino to break the record for the most Olympic Minimum Qualifying Score (MQS), tallying 660 points in the Panna Evaluation Tournament.

Aside from Moreno, the Philippine team will be composed of Anatacio Pellicer, Florante Matan, Rachelle Dela Cruz, Kareel Hongitan and Mary Queen Ybañez.

The six-athlete Philippine crew will be among the 149 entries from 18 participating countries. Medalists here will earn a spot in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
