A MAN was found dead in a grassy area in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City last Tuesday night.
Pery Pilapil bore gunshot wounds in the body.
A .38 revolver with four bullets and two spent shells was found a few meters nearby.
PO2 Joseph Rouel Cutanda said it was possible that the victim owned the gun and used it in a shootout with his assailants.
Police are still investigating the death.
