A 39-YEAR-OLD man was fatally shot by motorcycle-riding assailants in barangay Bato, Toledo City, Cebu.
Police identified the fatality as Joel Rigor Edolovero.
The motive of the killing could be drug-related, said PO2 Bombino Enriquez of the Toledo City Police Station.
Police said the victim was with his nine-year-old son buying something in a store past 6 p.m. last Monday when the assailants arrived and fired shots.
Police said the victim’s son was not injured.
Two empty shells of a .45 caliber pistol were recovered from the crime scene.
