SECURITY Guards bagged their third straight win with an 85-81 beating of the Our Lady of Consolation Parish Recoletos de Laray (OLCPR-L) yesterday in the Recoletos de Cebu Basketball League (RCBL) held at the University of San Jose – Recoletos Main Campus.
The undefeated Guards (3-0) were led by Roy Gerobiese and Julian Godinez, who scored 12 and 12 points.
OLCPR-L stayed winless after in three games.
In the second game, the Campus Planners crippled Mt. Carmel Talavera, 96-68, to earn their first victory.
Jason Mendez led the Planners (1-3) with 29 points.
Mt. Carmel/Talavera dropped to 0-3.
The third game saw the Pacubas Cleaners (3-0) escaping Recoletos Pilipinas (1-2), 91-88.
