Golden Cowrie and Hukad wanted to hear and share these stories through its recently concluded nationwide campaign called Kwentong Salu-Salo. From over a hundred photo and video entries submitted by diners nationwide, nine charming talesstood out to win P10,000 worth of Golden Cowrie and Hukad gift certificates.
Hailing all the way from Davao, Angelica Navarro won the best Kwentong Salu-Salo, receiving an iPad from Golden Cowrie and Hukad, with a video entry reveailing a comic experience during the time she and her workmates dined at Hukad SM Lanang.
The Instagram video shows how Mon, Angelica’s workmate inadvetently mixed up the utensils and used the serving fork, instead of a knife, in carving out a portion of the crispy pata. “Sa sobrang sarap siguro nakalimutan na ni Mon na kutsilyo pala ang gamitin na panghiwa. At sa sobrang dami ng nakain, pati ang serving fork ng pansit nilagay na sa sariling pinggan. What a dinner date with my workmates,” shared Angelica online.
Other Kwentong Salu-Salo winners were selected based on the following criteria: originality of the kwentong salu-salo, 50%; creativity of the photo or video, 20%; relevance of the kwentong salu-salo to the brand, 20%; and viral hits of the photo or video, 10%.
New Branches
Golden Cowrie will open four more branches in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. November brings more reasons to feast as Hukad Pagadian and Hukad SM City Seaside opens together with the much-awaited reopening of the first Golden Cowrie restaurant in Salinas Drive, Lahug with a whole new look. In December, it’s the reason for holiday gatherings with the opening of Hukad Zamboanga at KCC Mall in December.
