Auto racers from the Toyota Team Cebu will be gearing up for an intense final leg of the 2015 Toyota Vios Cup today at the Subic Bay International Airport in Zambales.

The last leg will feature 42 individual drivers, including Team Cebu’s Lord Seno, Jette Calderon, Sean Velasco, Oscar Suarez and Bobby Pangilinan.

There will also be eight celebrity racers including Sam YG, Fabio Ide, Derek Ramsay, Jinno Rufino, Phoemela Baranda, Joyce Pring, Kylie Padilla and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

As with the previous legs, the race will consist of three main categories: sporting class, promotional class and celebrity class.

Seno, who managed a second-place finish in the  first heat of the promotional class in the last leg in Manila, said the team is eager to finish strong in this year’s race.

According to Seno, Calderon is preparing to bounce back strong after his disappointing performance at the SM Mall of Asia complex, where he failed to finish after crashing early in the race.

Velasco, meanwhile, is also a strong contender as he was able to land a spot in the top 10 despite coming from way behind the pack.

Toyota Team Cebu is sponsored by Standard Insurance, Dewfoam, Commonwealth Insurance, Suarez and Sons, XCMG Heavy Equipment and OZ Racing.

Other racers to watch out for are Cebu leg winner Andres Calma, the previous leg’s sporting class champion Estefano Rivera, Daniel Miranda and Bobby Domingo.

In the promotional class, top names include Seno,  Miguel Diaz and Sherwin Hing.  Toyota Motors Philippines president Michinobu Sugata also participated in the last leg in Manila.
