Dump truck runs over mother, 4-year-old child

A mother and her child died after being run over by a dump truck in Mandaue City at noon today.
Driver Anastacio Hermida, 49, said he did not notice the victims.
Jenalyn Estenzo, 35, had run after her son Jay Estenzo, 4, who had run toward ML Quezon St. in Maguikay, Mandaue City when the dump truck hit them.
Driver Anastacio Hermida, 49, of Cantao-an, City of Naga, didn’t notice the mother and child until they were right in front of the truck.
