Three persons were arrested while P200,000 worth of shabu was seized in separate anti-illegal drug operations in the cities of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue.

Police recovered packs of suspected shabu worth P150,000 from Jigger Aro, 28,  who was arrested in a buy-bust operation in sitio Kalubihan, barangay Marigondon last Wednesday night.

Aro was arrested in a house owned by Mauricio Jumao-as Jr., who eluded arrested.

Police said Aro was placed under surveillance for a month before he was arrested.

Police also recovered a .38 caliber revolver, an improvised shot gun, drug-sniffing paraphernalia and four motorcycle engines.

Police said they suspected that the seized engines came from stolen motorcycles.

A separate buy-bust operation in barangay Mactan led to the arrest of Jason Bahio.

The target of the operation was Bahio’s brother Anthony but he eluded arrest.

Police said two sachets of suspected shabu, P200 in marked money and a .38 caliber revolver were seized from Jason.

In Mandaue City, a 25-year-old man was arrested after selling shabu to a poseur-buyer last Wednesday night.

The suspect was identified as a certain Joje, a resident of Zone Sibuyas in barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City.

Nine sachets believed to contain shabu were recovered from the man, police said.
