THE BOWLER who will win in today’s Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Bowler of the Year tournament won’t just walk away with the coveted Bowler of the Year plum but also get a huge cash prize.
The competition will be held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center starting at 2 p.m.
The champion bowler will take home P10,000, the runner-up gets P8,000 while the second runner-up takes home P6,000. The third to fifth runners-up will get P6,000, P4,000 and P2,000, respectively.
The qualified bowlers for the tournament are Emilia Dela Cruz, Ronan Barredo, Beth Ngo, Omar Marsangca, Baby Bacon, Jake Yap, Makoto Osada, Rey Entera Velarde, Docdoc Gothong, Nestor Longcanaya, Fred Torrequemada, Regalado Gulinao, Gretchen Tormis, Marvin Sevilla, Ging Francisco, Bert Edillo, Noel Tanyu, Ed Dilla, Bonnie Tanchuanko, Ester Francisco, Fel Alasagas, David Schmitz, Alex Lagcao, Jerry Davis, Jericho and Jomar Jumapao and Inday Aguilar.
The qualified bowlers are composed of the monthly winners of CETBA’s bowler of the month tournament and the others have placed whether on the top five or the top 10 of the tournaments held every month at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
There are also five reserves in the tournament. They are: Eric Bucoy, Patrick Petracorta, Sonia Gakenholz, Rolando Marsala Bantilan and Hermes Supremo.
