7-ELEVEN Road Bike Philippines will represent the country in the Le Tour de Langkawi on Feb. 24 to March 2 in Malaysia.

The Filipinos will stage a comeback at Asia’s foremost race, Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).

Langkawi Technical Director Jamalludin Mahmood said that the invitation was sent to the national team after its recent successful stints in Singkarak, Borneo and the recent Jelajah race.

The Filipino riders led by Marcelo Felipe will have a two-week active rest before they start extensive training in Baguio. They will compete against Pro-Continental and World Tour squads.

Before the Langkawi race, the national team will compete in the Asian Championships in Japan in January 2016.
