Archival assumes as acting vice mayor
Cebu City Councilor Nestor Archival Sr. took oath as acting Vice Mayor this morning.
CEBU City Councilor Nestor Archival Sr. took his oath as acting vice mayor early this Wednesday morning.
In a privilege speech in today’s session, Archival said he received a notice from the Department of Interior and Local Governments (DILG) to assume the post last Dec, 11.
Among his priority programs is to reduce energy and water consumption in the legislative building by five percent, install a rainwater catchment facility and enforce a solid waste segregation program, legislative remedies on traffic, police and city jail congestion, relocation of urban poor and create employment.
He asked for the council’s help to address these concerns.
Archival will visit Acting Mayor Edgardo Labella at his office later today..
