A 47-YEAR-OLD woman died after she was hit by a motorcycle in barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City last Thursday night.
Allen Tojeno was crossing M.L. Quezon Highway when she was hit by a motorcycle driven by Mark Jerald Barbon, 28.
Paramedics brought the woman to the Mactan Doctors’ Hospital where she later died.
Barbon sustained injuries in different parts of the body and was taken to a hospital in Cebu City.
Police said that according to some witnesses, the woman appeared to have panicked when she saw the motorcycle heading towards her when she was in the middle of the road. She hesitated to continue crossing and tried to return to the roadside but was hit by the motorcycle.
